APRIL/MAY
One of the best times to visit the West Coast of Scotland is during the months of April & May. Fantastic weather (usually!), quiet roads and spectacular spring scenery. We have at the moment been enjoying fab weather. Lots of our customers have been out walking and cycling and the local pub has been very busy. What you waiting for.........
NEW CARAVAN FOR 2012
We have purchased a new Willerby Rio caravan for position H. With a large decked area it is available from easter 2012.
APPIN SHOW & DANCE
On Saturday 18th August the annual Appin show is being held at Stalker field opposite Stalker Castle. Livestock, competitions, produce display tent & beer tent! The show is always on the third Saturday of August. The show dance follows at night in Appin Hall - there are a few sore heads on Sunday mine included....
CYCLETRACK NEWS
The cycletrack has now been completed. You can cycle for miles in either direction, most of it coastal. We have a selection of bikes available for hire including a Tandem! Adult Bikes £15 per day, Tandem £30 per day - half days hire is also available as are childrens bikes and a kiddiebuggy for towing wee ones who are too small to pedal...
WEDDINGS
We had 4 wedding parties last May & June including one bride & groom who held their reception in a marquee in the grounds. Two brides who got married at Stalker Castle and Barcaldine Castle and one bride who was married on an island. We have really enjoyed having everyone here it was great fun and quite eventful! If you are planning a wedding in the area just get in touch and we will help out in any way we can.
CREAGAN INN
Just a wee walk away and you are at the local inn. Overlooking Loch Creran it is the ideal spot to spend a few hours sampling the varied menu. The website is under construction at the moment but you can find them on Facebook and Twitter just type in Creagan Inn.

LOCH CRERAN FEATURES ON BBC2 PROGRAMME COAST
Tonight on BBC2 (18th August) Loch Creran featured in the programme Coast, you can catch it on BBC I Player if you missed it ,about 16 minutes in from the start. Fantastic overhead shot of the Loch and Creagan Bridge then the programme goes underwater in search of our famous Serpulid Worms. The Loch is a conservation area due to the presence of this endangered species which build reefs from their shells. WEATHER
Yesterday 30th August 2011 was the hottest day of the year so far and the good weather is set to continue for the next week. Decided to head over to Kinlochleven Seafood cafe where 14 of us enjoyed Scallops,Mussels, Clams, Langoustines and Crab sitting outside on the terrace fab.
